This week

Hey all, not much news to report at present. We keeping our heads down and saving cause next month we hit Mexico!

But thats not to say we have been acting like wood ducks, we spent the Saturday before last watching a gig at the best named bar in toronto, Sneaky Dees. And for this gig I'll be judging each band with a facial expression.

It was a bit of a weird show, first was these nerdy looking bunch that played hardcore and thrash.
Yes this guy was in the band. And yes his hair is red, and yes thats a sweater over a business shirt and he shredded.
They surprised me allot. But still weren't great.
Next was a band called Romo Roto, although they weren't really a band, just 2 people drumming and singing.
They were interesting but after a couple of songs the novelty wore off.
Next up were the headliners, they were called Japanther, unfortunately by that stage we had lost our prime position and were hanging at the back, so there is no good photos of the band.

Also it was getting quite late in the night at this stage, so a fair judgement probably can't be made. I'll let Sarah give the expression for this one.
Even the bands were duds we still had fun.
Last weekend we hit up a pub to watch the Bledisloe cup match, the result is better left unsaid. We met some people down there and had a bit of an afternoon of celebrating/comiserating.
Here are a few sneaky shots, again from late in the piece, so excuse the quality.

Even though we lost we still had a good time.

Moved and finished tattoo!

Its been a busy week here in Toronto Last weekend was a long weekend for Labour Day. We visited Toronto's famous beaches, right on the shores of lake Ontario!

The water was absolutely freezing so we couldn't swim, but the bike ride out there was nice. Its about 10km from down town Toronto.
The neighbourhood is also quite cool, nice houses!
After the huge ride our fun was over as it was time to move house!
We have managed to accumulate a bunch of stuff already.
We made a huge mess (that rolled up grey thing is our new mattress, looks comfy)
Tempers got a little frayed.
We said our goodbyes. We actually left the cat in the house, his owner was meant to come and get him after we had left, not sure if he did or not.
Then it was off to our new place.
We live on the top 2 floors of this place, its really nice! This is our room, we are going for the minimalist look.

Our verandeh is the jewel in the crown.
We share with another girl and her 2 cats, this little demon is called bibi.
She is a big fan of me, and after we were all moved in we were both stuffed.
I found this magazine that belonged to our new housemate, the picture and the headline at the bottom still crack me up.
We then hit Sweaty Betties, its our favourite bar in town! Unfortunately Canadians don't really get the Sunday session thing, it was dead.
And now the part you have all been waiting for, a HDabroad exclusive. Last night I finally went in to but the final touches on my tattoo! I am stoked with how it turned out!

This is a shot mid tat, I wanted to get one while it was bleeding! Last nights session hurt like hell, he was going over the same spots over and over!
He finished off the roses.
And here is the finished product
Hows that for a tough sticker!
You saw it here first.
