Toronto - the challenge!

Hi all! We have now been in Toronto for about 2 weeks, still loving it. There is tons to see and do.
Yesterday we went to do a brewery tour at Steam whistle brewery.
They only make one type of beer, its a pilsner. Its pretty good. They gave us a beer straight of the line.

The building used to be the old steam train garage, its like a big semi circle with a thing to turn the trains around in the middle.
Its the same with every brewery tour, nobody cares how its made. Everyone just goes for the tasting part.

The best part of the tour was this guy, his job is to watch the beer that comes off the line and make sure the bottles are all filled to the correct level. They take 20 minute shifts and can't be distracted. Our guy was yawning and looking at us the whole time.
Last week we also had the pleasure of hitting the golf course for a sneaky round. Was great to get out on the course for a hit after so long, we didn't do so bad either.
It was a really nice little course, only a few train stops from the city. In fact the club house was part of the subway station. The course was cool though, you wouldn't know you were in the city.
We also saw this little critter, a ground hog. We thought it was a beaver at first.
For the month of June Sarah and I have set a little challenge. She has been trying to quit smoking for about 2 years, so for June if I give up meat she will give up smokes. I hope it works because 3 days in its killing me.

They have these little hot dog stands on every corner, they do a mean grilled polish hot dog but now all I can get is veggie dogs.
We went to an area of town called Kensington market on Sunday, this area is like a dodgy little street market, it takes up a few streets and is just full of little restaurants and stalls sellin everything. There is a massive west indian population there so there is tons of Reggae and jamaican foods and stuff.
We went to a restaurant that sold both thai and hungarian food. I looked at the menu and was all these delicous scneitzels and sausages, but I could only choose from all these crummy Thai vegetarian dishes. I had Pad Thai with Tofu, it was ok.

I hope this is motivation enough for Sarah to stop smoking!
