Still alive!

Hi all, Have been a bit slack lately and not been updating. I didn't know this site was so popular, all the emails I have recieved from people saying they want more!

So anyways here is a big update. Since we last spoke I have been spending a lot of time here on our patio. The weather is awesome at the moment like high 20's everyday.

It also doesn't get dark until about 10pm, so we can chill out there all night and drink these.
This beer is super cheap and pretty tasty, I guess they save money by having the crappiest label of all time. Its actually famous for being one of the cheapest beers in North America that everyone drinks, don't expect to see it at Dan Murpheys though. I also thought this was a little weird. We also have moved in with this critter, her name is Kitty. She can't meow for some reason, so she just makes these weird banshee noises. Meaaaaaaahhhhhh, like someone with emphascima trying to breathe.
Last Sunday we went to Kensington Market, its the old Hippy/Market area downtown, its really cool and has a great caribbiean vibe too. On the last Sunday of each month they close it to Cars and have bands playing and artists working in the streets.

There is some great Graffitti around these parts too, Toronto has a huge Graffitti scene, its everywhere and a lot of it is really good.
Kensington also has an Amsterdamn style cafe, where you are allowed to smoke weed, but you have to bring your own. Legend has it that you can rent a private room with an Xbox and they serve you food and stuff.
We also found this little shop in there, its exactly the same as Bakers Delight, complete with cheesymite scrolls! Awesome, we get them everytime we see them, its the closest we can get to Vegiemite.

Yesterday was Canada Day, so we had a day off and went to Toronto Island, just a big island in Lake ontario. Its has great views of the city.
The beach was pretty ordinary though.
A few people live on the islands, but they are mostly parks and stuff. There are heaps of bike tracks so we took our pushy's over for a spin. There is also a theme park for little kids there.

It was a great day, but the best was yet to come. Lee 'Scratch' Perry played a free set down by the waterfront. For those who don't know him, he is a 72 year old reggae artist and producer. He is responsible for producing the early Bob Marley stuff and inventing Dub music. For a 72 year old he rocked, he was all over the stage.
He was great, but unfortunately the photos didn't turn out so good.

The stage was right next to the water, and as you can see it was packed out.
Its also right next to the tower, which looks great at night. It has a light show that changes all the time.

Its so big and colourful that you just can't help but stare at it.
So thats all the news up till now. I am going to a pub to watch a replay of the origin match tonight, I don't know who won, so nobody tell me. I hope it will be a happy night, and if your lucky there might be few photos to show you tommorrow.

Finally before I forget, Timbo. I found your long lost twin, he is a big star in the Canadian music scene, like a Canadian John Williamson.
Althoug now that he has gone digital you may get the chance to reunite.
